- 1. Certificate of Competency - This credential is issued to Students who have completed one or more of the three modules. A "Gold Seal" provided by the Society, is affixed to the certificate in recognition of the students having achieved the required grade (70%).
2. Certification Card - In addition to the "Certificate of Competency", the Job Safety Skills Society will issue individual Certification Cards for each course, signed by the Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry Director of Workplace Safety.
Access to credentialing
To certify that a Learner has completed the courses developed by the Job Safety Skills Society, the Society will, upon request from the school, issue either Credential A or Credential B to learners who complete, with a mark of 70% or better, the Learner Outcomes specified for each of the following credentials:
Credential A: Certificate of JobSafe Competency
This credential which includes a frameable certificate and wallet-sized JobSafe Competency Card is issued to each learner completing all of the learning outcomes specified for one or more of the Job Safety Skills courses (CTR 1210, CTR 2210, CTR 3210) with a mark, determined by the Instructor, of 70% or better.
Both the Certificate of JobSafe Competency and the JobSafe Competency Card are signed by the President & CEO of the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta and by the Director of Workplace Health & Safety for the Province of Alberta.
Credential B: Certificate of JobSafe Knowledge
This credential is issued to each learner completing the web-based/knowledge-focused JobSafe program only with a mark of 70% or better in one or more of the three Job Safety Skills courses (CTR 1210, CTR 2210, CTR 3210). A Gold Seal, provided by the Society, is affixed to the certificate to recognize the learners attainment of the knowledge component of each completed web-based/knowledge-based JobSafe course.

Instructors will obtain the above credentials for their Learners by completing the attached Record of Courses Completed by Learners and mailing or faxing it to:

Notes:
- Instructors may advise the Society throughout the year that a Learner has completed a Job Safety Skills course to the necessary standard.
- The Society may, at the schools request, arrange for a formal presentation of credentials to learners.
- REMEMBER:
UNLESS YOU INFORM THE SOCIETY WHEN A LEARNER BECOMES ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ONE OF THE VALUABLE CREDENTIALS NOTED ABOVE, A CREDENTIAL CANNOT BE AWARDED FOR THE LEARNERS CAREER PORTFOLIO.
